Is this odd?

Okay for those of you that have been folowing my on going saga with the TPI, heres where I am at and have surmised (if you don't know just read any recent posts I've made)

Your comments and thoughts are appreciated.

87 Trans Am 305 TPI--

With all the air ducting hooked up and MAF in place (between airbox and thottlebody) car will NOT run

(oddly enough I drove it for 10kms like this and ran fine--when I got home would not run anymore--idled at 200rpm--wouldn't rev, stalled)

Take the MAF out--(and place up by A.I.R.)leave rest of ducting--runs and idles fine.

1. I think my MAF works--but not when hooked up to ducting.

But this is still odd to me...

If the car works better without the primary sensor in the loop, either:

a) the sensor is bad
b) the ECM is bad
