What's the difference between a Mini Ram, Stealth Ram and Super Ram???
I am doing my research, but am still confused. Mostly just arguments over you should have got.......
What are the real differences amoung these intakes?
I am looking to put one on a 396 L98 set up that will be ProCharged. I was advised to get the mini ram by More Performance.
I was hoping to install it on my blown 305 in the meantime.
Thanks.

My personal opinion is the miniram or a single plane intake, converted to EFI.
Everything depends upon your setup. A 396 with a stock cam (yes I know you won't be running a stock cam) would benefit from a super ram more than the other two simply because the power range of a stock cam is not very high. Everything is based on matching components.
So figure out the rest of your engine, and try calling the manufactor of each intake and find out what they say to be sure, and go from there.

I replied to another thread on the same subject and see that many blown cars are getting into the single digits with the mini ram!!!!
Looks like it right for my application.
Thanks!

Well the difference of course is that the super ram is the best. Ions91Z if right about the power curves. Really you will find out many different opinions on this board about these intakes. You might also want to search the boards at corvetteforum.com at least for info on the mini and super ram.

Well, if emissions are of ANY concern than your only choice is superram. I am getting it for my 383. Lingenfelter makes 430hp on less of a cam than I am going to use. I figure if I make close to that I am happy. All depends on how much HP you want, but IMO with a SC, it's all good. Just the miniram/stealth ram's will let you breath a little "longer".
