Disconnect this?

I was wondering if I want to fool around and put on a manifold and carb instead of my TPI just to see what it does, can I just disconnect the sensors and leave them hang for now. I know I would have a different AFPR for the carb. But would disconnecting these things screw up the computer? Thanks.

uhh there is a lot more to it then that. Unfortunitly I dont remember right now what all has to be changed, I know the fuel pump is one of them.

Run a search in the forum, i'm sure there is a thread somewhere with someone doing this and the details on what you need to do.

don't need to change the fuel pump. just get the mallory 4309 regulator. has a return port. if you put a manifold and carb on, you won't need the computer. you will need to get a non-computer controlled distributor. the ony thing the ECM controls is engine stuff. and depending on year of car, the speedo.

Ok

The speedo is mechanical on mine. So the distributor and I can just leave that stuff unhooked. Thanks guys I just might fool around with it.
