its extrude honing, a machine forces a gritty paste throu whatever piece you put on it....its really good about doing mustang uppers and lowers since it follows the bends where a machine or hand tools cant get too. But the draw back is it follows the set design, it cannot make an area larger in one place yet smaller in another.

well according to that it was $500...but you would see a better result by siamesing your own intake and adding some SLP runners then by extrude honing.

That process is very expensive. Although it's probably one of the best ways as it can equally remove all material in every place the same time. As said above, it's a grit that is pushed through it.
I would imagine the machine itself is very expensive. Just get you a die grinder and some sanding rolls and save some money.
