Fuel injector flow rating

Iam just wondering what the stock rating of a fuel injector is on a 1985 tpi 305. Iam wondering because i need new ones and i see 19/lb, and 24/lb. Also could i use ford injectors.
Thank you

Your 305 should have 19lb injectors. Alot of people use the SVO(ford) injectors. If you are stock or not to far from, then you may not need larger injectors. Just my .02...

BTW the 350 should use 22lb injectors, not 24...

Well, i looked in my summit book today and seen that accel has only the 19/lb injectors for 1986-95 ford and then it has 24/lb for 1985-97 chevy injectors. Then in the back under ford racing it has 19/lb injectors, So what ones can i use. At my local parts store the stock injectors cost like $319. With accel and ford they are way cheaper.
THANKS

I run Accel 30#ers and have not had any problems. Run a search on the Ford injectors. If I recall correctly, they are rated at a lower PSI than GMs use. That means when you run the correct fuel pressure for your car the flow rate increases. I may have that wrong, but I have read something like that before so do a search. Good luck...

If the Accels are for a GM then you might as well save a few bucks and go with them. If the injectors are for a Ford application, you should do some research before you buy them. Your 305 should take the 19# injectors.
