Idle is high what do I look at
I purchase an 85 tpi car yesterday and it had all kinds of vacuum leaks when I got it home which I fixed but the idle is still way high like 1500 rpm I ran the trouble codes and got a 22 which is the tps could this be my problem?

Yes your TPS can most definatley be your problem. But it is not just a replacement part. You have to replace it, then set it correctly.
To do this you need two wires and a voltmeter. I prefer digitial for this but I suppose analog could do in a pinch. There is a proceedure on this here https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/tpimod2.shtml
Hope this helps.

Are you sure you were on the center wire in the plug. At .3 volts the engine should not even run, surely not at 1500 RPM's

Yeah I was on the center terminal I could run it up and down and vary the readings ti just would not adjust far enough to set at .54 going to buy a new one in the morning and probably a new IAC as I believe it must be bad as well.

First check that the gray wire on the TPS plug has 5 volts with the ignition on and the blk wire is at ground (0 volts) the center (signal wire) should have a blue tracer.
