Taking apart Trickflow G1 heads

Hey guys I have used the C-clamp style spring compressor and the one that work from the top aswell... and there is no way the locks are coming off... I tried tapping them with a hammer but they won't pop out.. any tips here boys? I have used both on GM heads with no problem but these babies are on there..

Put a deep well dsocket on the top of the retainer and give it a solid smack with a hammer. Then use the spring compressor. I've pulled the springs off my G1 heads both on the car with the lever style spring compressor and off the car with the c-clamp style.
