a little help please...
I guess all I want to know is:
(1). Can I figure out if my car is running lean or rich or whatever without a wideband (or whatever the dyno uses) or something like Diacom?
(2). Could I have a slight vacuum leak (I just did a intake swap) and not know it? Can I diagnose a vacuum leak if it is not audible?
I did some work to my car and it just doesn't feel the same. It might just be the weather, but that is what I want to know.
Oh yeah, while I am at it:
(3). What RPM do you guys (only stock heads and cam 350's)shift out of 1st and 2nd when racing?
Thanks alot,
Jonathan

Yes, you can see if your'e rich or lean without a wideband O2 sensor, plug in the scantool of your choice.
Most vacuum leaks on surfaces (non hose connections) can be found with water spray from a spray bottle...water will temporarily seal the leak, idle should decrease.
Bad connections, cracked tubing, etc can be found with carb cleaner or propane, etc...idle will increase when leak is found.
