Stalling, starting problems

When my car is idling or I'm coming to a stop in neutral the engine gets weak and sometimes stalls. I set the idle speed as high as it will go but it still dies. Sometimes the car won't restart after it's been running for about 10 minutes. If I let it sit awhile though it will restart. I just put a brand new battery, ministarter (cranks over fine, just doesn't start), new battery cables. If I had to guess I'd say it's the IAC but I don't know if that would explain why it won't start sometimes. When it stalls the engine light comes on but doesn't show any codes.

Any ideas?

Thanks

What code did the ECM set? Try changing your ignition module. They have a problem with heat failure(thanks TomP). When they get hot, they don't work, cool off and they are good to go. You may need a new one.

My car had the same symptoms, turned out to be the ignition module in the distributor as well.

Make sure you use plenty of dielectric grease between the base of the distributor and the new module when installing.
