LT1 Intake and SLP CAI
LT1 Intake and SLP CAI
Got a simple question for anyone here...will the LT1 intake swap still accomodate the SLP Cold Air Kit (dual inlet)? The only problem I'm worried about is that I've heard the LT1 intake sits slightly lower than stock...I wouldn't want to buy the CAI if I'm just going to have to throw it away/sell it after a while...
Thanks in advance

The LT1 intake conversion sits almost 3" lower then stock as measured at the throttle body.
The SLP CAI will fit, I ran it for a while but did sell it because my Accel TB was much larger then stock (thicker). It caused a slight kink in the 90° elbow of the SLP CAI. I was concerned about an air restriction so I switched back to stock air housing with K&N filters and the air boxes cut off at the bottom.
