is there a big diffrence between 1988-1989 L98 to 90-02 L98's
becasue im looking at buying a 91 z28 for about 10000 canadian is that worth paying the money for a 91 or should i just buy a 89 L98 and put the hi rie fin and ground effects on it of the a 91.
i really only want the 91-92 gfx and fin but is there any other advantages of the 91-92 z28 model?

Well 90-92 cars have improvements including the rear brakes, fuel tanks, dual cats, nicer guages, etc... Also, stock speed density cars always seem to be quicker than stock mass-air cars.
Buy the real deal unless you can find an older one that is significantly cheaper and still a 5.7 car.
I say 90-92 is the way to go.

87 also had L98, it was the first year by the way. I am a true dicsiple of the dark side, I drive a Formula. An 87 Formula 350 actually, now its a 383 but whos counting, I always liked the Irocs though even over the high rise wing, I think the rims on the later Z28s looked real gay!
