I have a ported plenum and SLP runners sitting in my garage right now. I have had them for a very long time becuase I am polishing them. I am just curious to see how much hp this combo might add and how much I will gain in the 1/4 mile. I don't need to know exact, just approximetly.

If you still have the stock base, probably not enough to notice. An aftermarket base, along with gasket-matched SLP runners can give you up to 20 or so horsepower depending on other mods. On a 305 with way-too-big injectors, I'm not sure what sort of gains you'll see. I'd guess under 10hp.

 

oh, one other thing. What should I use to cap off the 9th injector hole at the end of the fuel rail. I allready got a chip for the #24 injectors and for no 9th injector.
The runners that I have do not have a hole for the 9th injector.

 

I hate to say it but it may be slower if you still have the flat tappet peanut cam in the engine. As for the CSI do a search for a CSI eliminator on this site. I know I've seen posts before about a pipe fitting or somthing to screw into the fuel rail.
