Wierd Stalling propblem that has me stumped...and aggravated..
Ok the car itself runs pretty damn good usually, but the problem is it stalls on low speeds(say belowe 30), no throttle, and sometimes right when i hit the brakes but only about half of the time. I have disconnected the EGR thinking it was that, wrong it still does it.
Now I thought it was my brake diaphram in the power brake booster sucking all the vacum out when i hit the brkaes but it happens without brkaes and the diaphram seems fine.
It stalls pretty much when its hot out(not really at night when its cooler ), engine temp doesnt really matter, low speeds, slowing down to a stop. brakes or no brakes.
Tthe car runs great when its running. it drives fine and runs fine just something seems to be sucking the life out of it and making it stall and its a slow stall like i can feel it in the steering wheel like its about to and sometimes it catches itself and comes back to idle but mostly it stalls. ANY HELP PLEASE!!!!

The past 2 weeks Ive had the SAME problem. Except mine wont start again untill I get it jumped, Itll hold juice for a couple days then go back to the same problem. But why are we having trouble with stalling?
yo...87iroc350....have you checked your alternator yet....sounds to me like that could be your problem if you keep needing jumps, trust me camaro alternators suck ive gone thru like 6 of them. Or maybe you have a current draw somewhere if it wont start after its been sitting for a while. Also how old is your battery, maybe it cant keep enough juice to get it started.

Take out your Idle Air Control motor and clean it (I use Valvoline Synpower carb/throttle body cleaner) also clean out the idle passages where the IAC screws into and in the throttle body itself. Sounds like they may be blocked or the IAC is stuck closed.
After that reset minimum air and TPS per the tech articles on this site.

Unless you removed the egr valve and put a blockoff plate in its place you have not eliminated the EGR as the problem. If it is stuck open it won't matter if it is hooked up or not.
