Engine: GM HO 350 Crate (Vortec headed w/TPI) / SC 5.4 330
Transmission: Rebuilt 700R4 (Raptor Rebuild Kit)
Total advanced timing????
What is the total advance when I set my timing (without connector) at 6*........I have read that my engine runs better with 34-36 total advanced timing. How much does the computer advance it???

That depends a lot on the PROM. Most systems allow a total advance of about 41°, including the 5.98° initial timing advance. I usually bump the total advance to about 46-48°, and invoke Highway Spark & Fuel at a lot lower RPM/MPH.
