injector size

hey I bought some 24# accel injectors for my 383 I wanted to know if they would be big enough to support the engine it's got a 218/220 cam with 480 lift I think.. pro topline heads... super ram 58mm throttle body. base was portmatched to the superrams runners.
I think it's going to produce 400/500hp?

injectors

Nope, they are too small. You can boost the fuel pressure with a AFPR to help compensate but you can probably max out theduty cylce. Look at Mike Davis, he has 30#ers in his 350 ZZ4 Stealth Ram.

go with the 30lb injectors, better to go a little big than too small IMO. You can always reduce the duty cycle but you can't increase it enough if the injector can't supply the fuel.

I maxed out a set of 24lbers with my current combo, a 350. I can see a 383 needing even more fuel.

30#ers

I have a set of 30# ones for sale if anyone is interested. They have very few miles on them and are too small for the new application. I would like to see about 160.00 shipped. Email me at Gruvin84ss@aol.com if interested.

I'd say the 32lbs is too big. sometimes bigger isn't better. You better stick w/ the 30lbs IHMO
