Gutted airbox

Ok I gutted my airbox today,I was wondering if I should take the center bars out of the inlet scoop or if they were needed.

Is this answer listed here somewhere or what I really don't want to cut these if they're needed.Also does anybody have any pics of cuttint the area where the foglights come in too make this a ramair setup.Any comments or replies is greatly appreciated.I'm not new too building cars but this is my first stab at a third gen and fuel injection so if some of my questions seem moronic I apoligize. Thank You

Axle/Gears: 4.10 in box lol
just cut the entire bottom off...filters stay fine w/ just edge holding

yea you can cut the center bars without a problem.
