Just got TPI!! Please read.

well, i just got a tpi setup off of ebay. heres what the owner had to say,

"TPI setup out of a 1985 Camaro. Included is the throttle body, plenum, runners, base for early heads, 870 ECM w/ prom, 19# injectors, MAF sensor, wiring harness cut at the fuse box, and coil in cap distrib. There are also a few misc items/senors such as TPS, IAC, MAT, CTS, and EGR. All the the major connectors on the wiring harness are in tact, but some wires look cut and other connectors that I can't ID look broken."

I have a 355, and the manifolds on it allready have 02 scencors, i was just wondering if theres is ne thing neone would suggest i do before i put it in, besides porting, i allready plan this. thanx in advance, and sorry for the long post.

one thing what are the specs on the cam that is the 355?

as long it has 112*+ LSA the computer should like it.

85 year ecm + MAF (digital) system were problematic at best. you would be better off with a 165 ecm + harness + 165 MAF(analog). you can also repin the 85 harness to work with the 165 ecm. make sure you have a TPI FI Fuel tank as well. best of luck.

Just so you know 19# injectors won't work with the 355.

It really depends on how much fuel your engine needs.
I successfully ran stock 19# injectors and a chip for a 305 on one of my previous 357s with no problems at all. This was a mild 300ish hp engine though. I'm not sure how much hp a 19# injector can support, but sooner or later you'd need to go bigger to feed the engine.
What is in your 355? mild, wild?

it is pretty mild, it has the mildest cam that my engine shop had in stock, it was an rv cam.
