Oil leaks

Where is the normal place where oil leaks on these cars? I seem to allways see some oil on my oil filter.

Valve covers?

The intakes love to leak. The ends of the intake seal to the block with just silicone sealant, no gasket. If you have a slight leak from the rear of the intake it can trickle down the back of the block where the trans bolts up and collect at the oil filter area.
