fuel pressure gauge question
I have the fuel rail mounted Accel, I can't afford to get a really good gauge right now. Could I just get some fittings and some braided hose and mount the gauge somewhere else under the hood?, just to get it off the fuel rail.

I also have the Accel guage mounted on my fuel rail. I don't see any reason why relocating the guage would create any problems, just as long as you make sure everthing seals up tight.
The guage isn't even that big. Why would you want to relocate it?

How long have you had yours on there? I was just going to leave mine on the rail until I read somewhere here on TGO that it is not supposed to be left on, then I saw this in the Summit catalog,
NOTE: Gauge is designed for test purposes only and not intended for permanent mounting

I don't see a problem with leaving it on, however, they may just be covering there asses in terms of warranty and potential for fire given that their product is standing in the way of what could be a pretty bad fuel spill.
I'd keep mine on though.
