Ok first of all I want to thank everyone who has done this conversion with all the info that was posted on the board. Also John M for coming up with the converson idea. Well my car is up and running but I still have some issues and also can you guys list what timing and fuel pressure that you are using. I know each car setup is different but I need just an idea.

Right now I have 7 degree base timing, no vac leak. IAC and TPS is all new. Fuel pressure has not been played w/ yet.

1. TPS Voltage will not go down past .9 even with the idle screw all the way back.

2. High idle.

My setup of my motor is as followed:

Engine: 383
Cam: 227/232
Heads: Dart II with 1.5 rockers on intake/ 1.6 rockers on exhaust
Lt1 intake

Not all TPS's are adjustable. If yours isn't either modify it or get one that is. I'm not sure of the years that were adjustable. I know my 1986 is adjustable.

You also have to set minumum air (what you're calling the idle screw), then reset TPS again. True idle is set in the chip.

I run 48psi fuel pressure and 6° base timing on my car. If you change base timing of the distributor be sure to change it in the chip as well.

If after all that you still have high idle look for vacuum leaks.
