Just got a 305 tpi and new trans

I have the Lg4 and im looking to just put the tpi on the engine now and beef up the bottom end of the other engine for a swap. Is there anything i have to modify to put the tpi on or are the heads ok. also should i swap the cam?

Transmission: Probuilt 700R4 - 2800 Stall Midwest

Axle/Gears: 3.42

Definitely change the cam.
