hey need help i have an 86 iroc z28 with a 305 tpi out of an 87 gta when i start the car it sounds like i have a very lumpy cam in, when i give it gas its loke im cutting of the pump it will pick up in a few secs but very rough, and when i just let it idle it will surge up to about 1300 rpms then almost die out. its not throwing any codes. anybody had this prob before.

 

now when i start the car it dies over and over once again no codes. any help

 

I had the same problem with my car with the starting and dying right away. I changed the whole ignition system, new MAF and the relays on the firewall near the master cylinder. I don't know what I did but it runs but still stumbles hard from idle to 2000 rpms. From 2000 up, it runs fine. I'm thinking ignition modules, its getting tested now my one of my buddies and I'll post the results later.
