accel super ram on lb9
is it to much for a 305? if itd take heads and cam to be worthwhile what would i be lookin at?
I've been told it would be too much even with heads and cam. That's just some of the answers I got when I asked. I never tried it. Those are good times you have now. Is that with the stock TPI?
I did see a car a few years ago in All Chevy (I think before it was Chevy High Perf.) that had a 305 with ported vette heads, bigger cam and SuperRam. He was running nitrous and clocking high 11s.

arent the runner lengths on the LT1 intake shorter then the super rams? with that in mind theoretically i wont loose as much down low? im toyin with a few ideas here, i want my peak HP to be at 5500 give or take. id love to get the LTR design since its the original induction for it.

lt1 intake track is Deff. shorter.
id say Go with a accel base. or edelbroch
and either AS&M runners
or a superram.
You can always do gears and converter and prom tuning to compensate for any low end trq you loose.
