1988 350 idling problem?!?!
Ok, I really need some help here. Car will idle back and fourth from 500 to 700 rpms. Some times when the car is costing at like 15 to 20 mph it wants to stall, but after a few seconds the rpm's will kick back up. I've changed like every sensor IAC,TPS,MAP..ect nothing no chang . No check engine light , no codes. I Would appreciate any help here It's really getting on my nerves. Tahnkx
just an idea... check the EGR... sometimes when you run to rich or have a leaky injector, it will cause major carbon build up... take it off and shake it out or clean it with maybe some carb cleaner...

EGR or o2, take the vaccum line off the EGR valve and put a bolt in it and then take it for a ride. do this before the o2.
holy chit.. im stumped...well.. not totaly. Are you sure you set the IAC correctly? Did you adjust your TPS? Have you had your engined scanned while running to check for knocks? Could be bad fuel injectors, bad timing, bad knock sensor, chitty gas, or a combo of each...

Well there is a possiblity that you have a Vac leak, and it may even be on the EGR system even.
