way rich after fuel pump change

I havent had the cnance to go do some trouble shooting, but my car has been running rich as hell after replacing the fuel pump, its still running the same pressure (guage on the rail) so Im not sure why its running rich, last time I looked it was running around 45 psi (its been a while since I looked been gone a while). Just wondering if anyone ever had this problem before the regulator should compensate for that, no different than on a stock car when the pump is replaced no need to do anything with the fuel pressure. and its a stock AC delco pump bought from checker.

thanks

Is your fuel return line still okay?
