Ok, the car is throwing codes. Its giving me a code 33 MAF singal votage or frequency is high during engine idle, 42 EST circut open or shorted to ground during run or direct ignition system falut bypass circuit open or shorted to ground or fuel cutoff relay circut open or shorted to ground, and 43, EST circuit low voltage detected or esc circut problem.
It happens when im drivng along at an even pace and all of a sudden it bogs some and then the engine light comes on, any suggestion as to what to look for?

 

Sounds like youe EST module is going bad, that's what mine would do. However, the problem wasn't that the module was bad, just that it was a 305 module and not a 350 module. Contrary to popular belief (and GM) they are not the same. I replaced it with a new GM module and in a month I had the same problem. I bought a 350 module from Fuel Injection Specialties(different part number from the one I got at the local GM dealer) and I haven't had that code come up since.... Just a thought.....

 

cool thanks man ill check that out i just swaped out my 305 for a 350 so that just might be it!
