Q about TPS voltage change
key on, engine off. voltage changes normally as throttle is moved slowly. let's say halfway opened it's about 2V. now when i open it up real quick to about the same halfway point, my voltmeter reading doesn't go as high as when opening it slow. instead it registers a lower voltage. does this indicate a tired tps or is my meter just unable to "keep up" with the voltage output because it's opening up too quick?? like i said when opening the throttle slowly the readings go up slowly as they should. but i'm wondering if it's normal for my meter to not register the same reading at the same point, because it's opening up too quick. like slowly at WOT it would measure almost 4V, but doing it real fast it only reads about 2V or so.
i hope i made sense. lol. i dunno how else to explain it. any help appreciated.

would say your meter can not process the voltage change that fast. does the meter go to 4-5 volt if you hold it at WOT? if so your meter is to slow if not the tps might be to blame

question should be is how do you know you are stopping at the same halfway point when you open quickly as compared to slowly? the meter won't keep up with sudden changes.

i dont know for sure if it's halfway but it's about there. i also did it at WOT. i get a lower readin when i do it fast. same thing happened when i installed my old TPS just now. guess the meter's just slow.
