OK so i got the lpe219 cam.....
Got the lpe219 cam, what else do i need to install this cam?
the cam that i have right now is a comp cams 206/212 480/487. they put that one in (and lifters springs lock retainers etc.)when i had the engine rebuilt. I know i need to change the prom chip, am i missing anything else?

id change the rest of the valvetrain if the springs cant hold that much lift. Find the specs on the springs max lift it can take. You might have to get stiffer springs. How about a set of roller rockers? Pushrods is a good idea if the ones you have are stock still. with the higher lift, your pushrods will not be able to take the beating of the stiffer springs and valvetrain.

I also purchased the 219 cam. Only thing I am upgrading is the springs to a 1.46 Double. Since I already have a cam with .540. I am set with Hardened TF pushrods and Comp Pro Mag rockers. The 219 will max out at .560 lift now.
