first engine swap

i'm swapping out the stock L98 in my 88' for the Scoogin Dickey vortec TPI crate engine. i have a few questions that i hope you guys can help me with.

1. the L98 has over 110k miles on it, i might decide to replace the water pump, anyone know of a good pump that will work in a serpentine set up?

2. anyone know of a good affordable set of emissions leagal headers w/ y-pipe?

3. i plan on taking the stock fuel system over to the new engine, should i get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

4. also how much would it cost to have the 2-bolt main block splayed for a 4-bolt set up?

any other advice would be very helpful.

thanx guys,

1. get one from a parts store like autozone, murrays etc...

2. hooker 2055's

3. it only affects performance at WOT

4. dunno

y not just tear down your l98, and rebuild that?

Why, if you are rplacing the engine? But and good partsstore will have them, just get a NEW one, not rebuilt.

SLP

Most definately, and get a pressure guage to go along with that.

around $200 for the caps and figure $300-$500 for the machine work to install them.
