Hello all,
I have an 85 Iroc with a 5.0 TPI engine, and at first when i start the it, it would idle up to around 1500rpm but after a few seconds it would idle down to normal operating rpm...anyway, now it dosent even do that anymore, now I have a check engine light on and as soon as i start the engine, it idles up to around 1700 rpm and stays there and it has no intentions on reducing its idle, the thing has a mind of its own, can someone help me?

check the trouble codes on it. i think the site tells y how to do it.
