Timing wire for 1989 camaro?

I was looking for a wire to disconnect so I could check my timing tonight but I couldn't find it on the passenger side firewall. Can someone please tell me where to look?
thanks

if your looking at the engine from the front... it should be on the passanger side, right over the blower motor. Its a Tan wire with a brown stripe. There is a plastic connection right there.

If you don't see it there, look between the reciever/drier and the strut tower, I found it there on my 91 Formula.

I looked and looked up by the firewall and around the coil but I found nothing
I will keep looking for it. Thanks Morley.

Most likely it should break out of the big wire loom covering running on top of heater box. Not by coil
If decal is still legible on hood it may also reference it and I think give you timing.

On my '89 IROC, it's between the strut tower and the fender on the passenger side.
