For the heck of it....
For the heck of it....
Here is a dumb question.....
WIth the mods I currently have (see sig) and a stock TPI with AFPR, ram air, 24lb injectors, 265/50/15 BFG Radial GT tires on 8.5" centerline convo pros, 3.42 posi, polyurethane torque arm bushing, how should my car hook?
I personally would think relatively well.
(With the TBI, if I slam it off the line, it wont burn.)

Let me put it this way. I hook perfectly in 70+ degree weather with my setup. In my opinion its almost all in the tires. I don't know how your tires are. Heres my setup.
87' 355 TPI, ZZ4 cam, mild head work, ported TPI
stock suspension
Michelin XGT V 245/50/VR 16 tires
3.27 gears
I have trouble hooking below 70 degrees but traction is perfect in warm weather. Should make for a nice 60' time. Your setup sounds very nice.

Kinda confused, not that it really matters, but yu have TPI, yet refer to TBI?
Anyway, if you nail the throttle and don't spin..two things could be happening:
1. You're hooking very well.
2. You have an engine or tranny problem, that is causing the take off to be a dog.
Have you run at the track yet? Your '60ft time will be a tell-tell sign of what's going on.
