Can I run these injecters.

I've been given a set of injectors my buddy had in his LT4 GS Vette. They are 28lb. Can I run these in my 88 TPI 350? Or do I need to change anything first? My motor is totally stock

You will need to change the injector constant in the .bin file stored in the PROM to run that much larger of an injector. If the size was closer to stock (22lb), you might be able to compensate for it with rail pressure adjustments.

Also, you won't need that big of injector with a stock or even mildly built engine. And are you sure they aren't 24lb?

Why are you replacing injectors?

I was thinking of replaceing them cause they have 130,000 miles on them and was given a set that had less than 25,000.There actually 27.6lbs and were the factor ones in my buddy's LT4.
I'm stupid when it comes to EFI,I'm a carb guy and trying to learn all I can on TPI.

Your sig. say "89 IROC Majorly Modded"

What kinds of mods?
What injectors are on there now?
What prom or "burn specs" are you using?

You would need an ajustable fuel pressure regulator to turn down the pressure a bit and then modify you PROM's injector constant, VE, and PE tables to run those injectors in a stock TPI 350.

I'm making well over 400 hp with 24 lb. SVO injectors and the duty cycle of them at wide-open throttle is no where near being maxed out.

28 lb. 'ers would be good on a stock TPI 350 if you threw some Nitrous on it though!
