just wondering. i have brand new set of s/r torquers that have better springs than stock(i forget which ones were installed) and have a 3 anlge valve job. im either going to buy a crate engine or buy a shortblock and install these heads on it. but i want to go with tpi and these heads have the old bolt pattern.

85 or 86 tpi manifold should work fine. I have a 86 manifold on a set of 78 heads and it worked fine.

ive always been told that the center holes can be elongated and wedge washers can be used to bolt newer stuff on old heads and old on new..
