DYNO Tuneing 2 results!

Welp.. we started 252.9 and 376.4

Dyno Tuneing 1 put us at 261 and 385
the 385 was a spike though..

(all rear wheel hp #'s)

Dyno Tuning 2

We ended up at 10 degree's base timeing, 45 fuel pressure, ran open y-pipe to get a better a/f ratio. Changed out the plantinum plugs for a set of AC delco R44LTS plugs.

280.9rwhp and 386.9 rwtq

figureing 20% drivetrain loss:

351 hp & 483 tq

I got better #'s from a SuperChip for a stock l98 than Ed Wright Custom chip.. and the idleing and response was a lot better too.

Ed's chip best #'s were 278rwhp and 379rwtq with idle issues and a flat spot around 3500rpm's. Going back to Ed tomorrow to see what we can do..

Dyno Tuneing 3 to come.. looking to get that 300rwhp and 400rwtq mark!

Stock tuneing, howling driveshaft, and 2.73 gears kickin my ***.. Should see much improvement with Custom tuneing and an aluminum driveshaft with new end joints.

Keep in mind the dyno was done with open y-pipe, but the runs were made with cat-back installed which put more like 260-265rwhp and 375-380rwtq.
