Can I drive my TPI with my MAF disconnected
Can I drive my TPI with my MAF disconnected
ive heard u can...but it will run lean. i've also heard you can but it will run rich. i just need some real clarification. Is there any downsides? besides throwing a code??? i don't wanna screw my engine up anymore (just done fixing).
yes you can. What will happen is the ECM will go into limp home mode and run on a pre-set number of air flow. as for rich or lean, you probably will run lean at WOT because the ecm doesnt really know how much air your sucking in, therefore cant compesate adding fuel. I wouldnt beat on the car to much with the MAF disconnected.

Yeah I've got either a bad MAF, or the relay is bad.. been that way for awhile now..
is there a way to test the MAF sensor?
