Car dies seconds after start.... egr to blame?

Well, on occasion, upon initial start the car will idle well for a few seconds and then just die out. No warning, just dead. Cranks right over the next time, but its been doing this with more freqency lately and I wonder if a faulty egr valve is to blame? Any ideas guys??
Thanks

Will

gettin any codes? EGR could be the cause, along with a few other things. Check for codes.
