I'm running that cam as well in my 350 equipped 85 IROC-Z. Works well with the stock 85 Vette chip. A custom chip is needed for ultimate HP. You might need one just to run since you are running MAP instead of MAF. I'm not a MAP expert by any means. I just know they are way touchier than the MAF when it comes to cams...
To take "full" benefit of the cam you will need better than stock heads. Something that flows along the lines of 240 CFM intake and 185 CFM exhaust. You will also need headers and an aftermarket intake/runner setup. Also a 52MM TB will help and put in some 28 lbhr injectors.
I have everything listed (but the larger injectors) and yesterday the engine pulled to 6K with power. Usually it tails off at 5500 but I replaced the MAF and that seems to have awakened the beast. I'm only running 10* of timing right now as well. It really likes 16* the best at the track....
You will want at least 3.42's with an automatic, and a 2500 stall converter minimum if you run the big heads/induction system. If you plan on running the stock heads/induction you won't need the converter although the headers will still help. The engine should still pull hard to 5k in a 350 with no problem. Then again, I had an aftermarket intake with the stock runners. I've never run the stock intake on the 350.... As far as running it in a 305, you will have to ask someone else.

Duh!!!!! I should have read your specs better, You are running a 350. Everything above is for a 350.....

I went a best of 13.23 @ 107.19 MPH with my previous combo and ZZ4 cam. My dad has gone 13.01 @ 103 with his ZZ4 cam and Vortec heads. Yes it will work fine with the stock prom, but for best results you'll want a custom chip tuned to your combo.
