Tpi Vss?

I have a 89 RS that I am putting a 90-92 TPI on there.

My car uses a cable driven speedometer, and I heard the TPI needs a VSS to function correctly.

What the hell should or can I do?

Point of Interest.....my car has a plug for a electronic VSS that has never been connected to anything.

Your cable driven speedo has a VSS already it’s on the back of your gauge cluster. You will need to either reprogram the chip because the older VSS has a different pulse rate or buy a conversion box.

Ahh ok. I'll have a friend of mine do that while he dyno tunes it. (He has all the equipment.)
