2032 cam + speed density + stock chip??

I'm thinking about going with the crane 2032 cam (214/220 , .452/.465, 112 deg.) for my 305, 5 spd 91 Z28.
Anyone running this cam with speed density and stock chip? Who's done it and how did the computer/oem chip like (or should i say dis-like) this cam? Thanks

FWIW - I ran a 218/224 cam with a TPIS chip before I got into PROM Programming. I later found out that the fuel curves were IDENTICAL. For all potential purposes, I was running on the stock chip. Was it optimal? No. Did it work? Yes.

Yes, I ran 12.5's @ 108 on the stock fuel curve with my fuel pressure bumped up to 52psi. This was with AFR190s and a fully upgraded LTR setup with a Vigilante 3600 stall. Normal stuff like headers and gears were done too.

is 112 good enough for vaccuum on a stock TPI SD? i read that it's best to keep it at 114 which is the stock cam's spec.

speed density systems work real good with cams at 110-112 lobe sep.with 219-244 @.050 but beware they need moded chips, performance resources in nj,will take good care of you....

Here's a graph of a person's car that I helped tune. It's a ZZ4 with a Stealth Ram using SD. The eprom was already modified by the company that put the engine/intake combo together.

FYI, the ZZ4 cam is milder than what you are looking at. But I hope you can see the differences between an "eprom that works, and eprom that is optimized".
