Painless Wiring Harness kit for MAF fuel inj.
Anybody use painless wirings fuel injection harness to rewire their MAF car? I have an 89 IROC and would like to rewire from the cimputer to the engine/fuel injection. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this kit and what their thoughts were.
Does it include everything to rewire from the computer up to the motor--I mean all of the wires coming out of the computer and all of the wires for the fuel injection, distributor, etc...
Thanks
Tim

Yes and no. Its not setup like the factory harness. There is no connector from the harness to the dash (which is the IP harness) so you'd have to use your old connector or get one from a junkyard. Also, the relays are about a 1' lead off the ecm connector, so theres no way they are long enough to reach the driver side of the engine compartment. There's also some other odds+ends here and there you'll have to mess with to get like the factory setup like the lead for the fan and AC.
I'd go with someone else if you want a plug+play type harness to replace your old one. Might try a search, but I think its Howell that sells something that is more of a direct fit.
