The shipping is just killing ya!!! I spec'd some newer model F-car motors in the junkyard two summers ago and settled on a 305. It had the induction but no harness or anything like that. I paid $500, and that was a low mileage motor. I asked about TPI 350's, and they were wanting $800+, so it sounds like you did prety good.

Hey man whats goin on! The motor's in IN. I think I'm going to go ahead and buy it.

Anyone else have any opinions?

Well - I wouldn't buy it.

After all is said and done youll wind up investing close to 1,000 for the induction. Where as a GM Goodwrench 350 (not impressive but NEW) is 1,200.

The Goodwrench can be fun too - because there is room for improvement, so youd mod it over time. That L98 is on borrowed time.

$1000 for the induction and extra 45 cubic inches. I'm going to rebuild the motor and check everything for cracks/twisting. Possibly bore .030 over. I don't think the Goodwrench is emissions legal either. Before I put the L98 in, it'll have heads/cam. I can mod both over time. Thanks for you input bro.
