Fuel Pump Help...

Ok, well, my question is, I'm changing out my differential soon, and I figure, since I'm at it, I might as well swap out the fuel pump. I have a '90 Firebird 3.1 mpfi. I'm also planning on swapping in a 350 TPI Crate from sdpc. And I want all the pressure that thing needs, w/o going back up to swap the damn pump out. Now, would my 3.1 go hay-wire w/ a V8 pump in there? I'd figure my stock regulator would still keep it at what my v6 needs, and it shouldn't be a problem.

Also, what is the best pump to get that would flow what the "Future" engine would need, and would last the longest and is most reliable?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

The stock pump for a TPI car should do just fine for the crate engine. And since the V6 is MPI, then the pump for the TPI should be ok in it.
