BBK Throttle Body on Stealth Ram...HELP!!

I'm installing a BBK 58MM throttle body and stealth ram on my car and have fitting problems with the cable linkage hitting the front of the fuel rail where the fitting goes in. I read on past posts that others have had these problems. If anyone could tell me the good way to fix this problem and also pics of this would be great too..........THANKS!!!

Look here for answers...there are a number of solutions

https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hlight=fitting

Cheapest and easiest is a narrower 90 deg fitting from napa.

So, if i just take this throttle body back i can order up a 1985-1988 throttle body and it will bolt up and work just fine huh? But i would just have to replace the throttle cable with an older style. If i chose to grind on it how much has to come off? do you just grind off the round part where the cable runs at??

Just grind it until it clears and no more. (Personally, I dont like that option because it decreases the factory of safety designed into the fitting) Yes, the older TB bolts right on as long as you get an old throttle cable.

I have a BBK 58mm TB on my HSR. I had to grind off just a slight amount of meat from the cable guide. I just used a bench grinder and trimmed a bit, test fit, trim a bit, test fit. Didn't have to remove much and it didn't take very long...
