Injectors
What is the stock lb/hr rating for an 86 5.0 TPI motor? I'm asking b/c when i did my cam swap and upgrades, I changed the injectors also(the stock ones were badly damaged over the years), and went with Accel 19lb/hr injectors....I called the auto parts store and asked them if these would be the right ones, and they told me those would be the stock replacement ones without having to modify the computer....I just wanted to verify that, b/c I was going through my Summit Racing catalog, and they list the 24lb/hr injectors as the option for TPI motors. Can anyone solve this issue for me? Would going to 24lbs/hr require computer calibration?

Yes, the car came with 19lbs./hr injectors stock. Going with the 24lbs./hr injectors will require you to change the injector constant in the PROM, no biggie if you or someone you know can do it. If you don't the car will run too rich.
