Car Problems

ok i got a few questions..

first.?... by my intake manifold on the right side about under the TB it looks like there is some oil mixed wit some coolent. wat could be causing this??
i need a new radiator and my car seems to be leaking oil. but it doesnt leak oil on a constent level. somdays it wont leak and some days it leaks. it seems to be coming from where the oil filter is at like towards the top somwhere. i dunno if this could also be a cause of it or not. any one have any ideas...

also is the Mini-ram smog legal?

Re: Car Problems

Here is what I think, If there is coolant on your intake you definalty have a leak somewehre around there. The oily stuff mixed in could just be grime built up over the years(depends how clean your engine compartment is).

Dont you know chevys run the best when they are leaking at least a little??? jk, lol. Have you changed your oil and maybe the filter is loose?

Miniram is not smog legal, i dont think it has any provision for egr.

well i keep my engine very clean. its been parked for about 3 weeks and i just noticed it. i try to clean the engine every 2-3 weeks but since i havent been driving it around who knows maybe your right.

the oil filter is not loose. when i noticed it was leaking was when i took it to jiffy lube to get a oil change. i saw it was leaking so i figured they had left the filter looose but nope, that wasent it. hahah chevys i think every chevy ive seen leaks something lol.
