Injectors needed
Injectors needed
Ok, guys I posted before the I had a problem with a misfire. Well, it turns out the number 1 and 6 plugs were alittle loose in the head. Fixed that still mis was there, we looked further, and came up with number 1 injector is bad.
My bro tells me to just change the 1 thats bad, but I rather change all at once. So, Im looking for replacement injectors.
Engine is stock as far as I know, it does have Hype chip, headers and flowmaster exhaust. What is a good inj. to get?
Thanx in advance, Jorge

If it can be rebuilt you can spend less than $100 and send them to www.cruzinperformance.com. I had my injectors rebuilt there and Rich is very helpful and sends you flow numbers and characteristics of your injectors before and after testing.
As for buying a whoe new set, I heard GM OEM parts is the way to go.

OEM GM injectors are at least $90 each, meaning that a new set is going to be $720!
The cheapest aftermarket option I found was Ford SVO injectors. I used 24 lbs/hr ones in my 350. A 305 would use 19 lbs/hr ones. You will need to get a custom chip burned to revise the fuel tables for the new injectors too. Summit sells the injectors for $200-$225 a set depending on the size. Then you need to find someone familiar with the setup that can burn you a chip. TPIS did mine and lit works like a charm.
