funny problems

Hi all, my car, almost always fires up right away, but if i dont give it a bit of gas it dies somtimes (not always) the exception is when its warm, it doesnt start up right away instead i have to give it a good 2 second of cranking to get it moving.

Always i get a puff of oil shoot out the back. I figure valve seals.

Rough and low idle is consistant once warm, about 6-750rmp, somtimes its moves up and down the whole range, sometimes it just bounces up and down 50rmp...

ive already replaced the fuel filter, i think the IAC and fuel pump are next, as well as new valves seals....

Also, there is the vacume hose not going anywhere next to my cruise, its spliced into one of the lines, and my cruise has never worked. How much of this is caused by a vacume leak?

thanks all, i know its long

I've been having the exact same prob since i bought the car over two years ago. Don;t tackle the fuel pump until you have it tested. i've replaced all the ignition and fuel sustem except the fpr and the injectors and my car still has this problem. I'd have a fuel pressure test and continuity test done before you do anything. This will let you know if the problem is at the front end or the butt end of your car.

Fix the leak first. These cars are vacuum sensitive.
