Bogging problem
Bogging problem
Ok, heres my question.
What would cause a car to bog at 3000 rpm and up? When it hits 3000 rpm, it stumbles and makes some popping noises in the intake and in the exhaust (sounds like it anyway) like its got too much advance in the timing. My timing is set to 6 degrees base, timing wire is plugged in and the car didn't start doing it until I pulled the motor to swap cranks.
All of the ignition system is less than 2 months old.
Other than the bog, the car runs good. Runs pretty smooth down low for having a cam.
Here's the specs for the motor:
350 w/ WP Sportsman II heads
Holley Stealth Ram w/ stock TB
24 lb SVO injectors
Summit 1103 cam (214/224 lift, .47x lift, 112 lsa, and 1.52 Comp Cam rollers)
Thanks for the help.
PS. already changed the fuel filter. Also put ANOTHER set of plugs and wires on it too. Dont think its fuel due to before the crank swap, it ran like a raped ape.
