Trooper Heads?

I have the opportunity to buy a set of heads off of a ex Iowa State Highway Patrol car that a buddy of mine wrecked. Will these heads work with my TPI, will they be an improvment, or will they not work well with my car (stock 305 with some bolt-ons)
Thanks in advance
Bob

Its a Caprice same style as the 90's SS but I'm not sure off the top of my head what year it is for sure. I can find out though.

Oooooooooo, something you didn't want. Those are most likely the LT1 style iron heads... LT1 heads require modification to work with the gen 1 style small block water ports. For the money, you should look more towards putting 1.94/1.52 valves in your stock heads, or go after some World SR's instead... Even if you get the heads free, sell them on Ebay and get something that will work without that much modification. If they were the aluminum LT1 heads from a Camaro/T.A. it would be better, but the iron version offers very little for you.
